Due to the COVID19 outbreak at the beginning of 2020, the remaining activities of the GECKO project were stopped or delayed. In July 2020, following the results of a poll conducted among the partner institutions, the Project Management team presented a request for a 12-month extension of the project to the EACEA which was accepted. The official end date of the project is now October 14th, 2021.

The GECKO Steering Committee met to agree on the remaining activities to be conducted, the new calendar, the updated quality plan (in particular module quality report), and a staff cost redistribution plan for extra deliverables (Guide to Good Practice and improved modules) to be submitted to the consortium.
